Peace and development are the themes of today's world. September 21, 2022 is the 21st "International Day of Peace". The pursuit of peace and even permanent peace is the eternal ideal and desire of mankind. The state of peace bears the value and purpose of mankind.

As a symbol of the just struggle and internationalism spirit of the international diaspora and the Chinese people to unite against Japanese fascism during World War II, the Museum of the Weixian Concentration Camp of the Musical Academy, like the painful sites left around the world, has the important value of educating the world, remembering history, cherishing peace, and striving to build a better future of human society. In order to better convey the values of peace, publicize the spirit of international peace, and teach the ideological and political lesson of "peace", our library took the International Day of Peace as an opportunity to carefully create a "Building Peace Together" preaching group to preach the story of "peace" and convey the power of peace.

Publicity group and mobile exhibition

The "Building Peace Together" preaching group and mobile exhibition entered the Weifang Branch of Hengfeng Bank. Take the initiative to "go out" to preach peace, go deep into the masses, and arouse strong resonance among the audience with the vivid story of the anti Japanese war veterans' pursuit of peace with their lives, so that the concept of peace culture can reach the hearts of the people. In order to tell a good red story, inherit the red gene and continue the red blood, our docent led all the party members and comrades of Hengfeng Bank to deeply understand the mobile exhibition of "Brief History of Weixian Concentration Camp", which brought them a revolutionary education course with profound significance. The photos on the exhibition witnessed the true record of the Chinese people and the people of the world uniting against Japanese fascism. In the vivid narration of the commentator, the detailed and rich historical pictures and cultural relics photos reproduce the hundred years of vicissitudes of the wind and rain history of Weixian Yuedao Academy, as well as the dauntless spirit of Weixian revolutionary martyrs who are not afraid of bloodshed and sacrifice.

Museum visit

The museum organized a group of 30 people from Qingzhou Cigarette Factory to visit the basic display of the history of the Yuedao Academy and the special display of the Western Overseas Chinese Concentration Camp, to learn more about the development history of the former site of the Weixian Yuedao Academy and the Western Overseas Chinese Concentration Camp, cultural relics in the museum collection, etc., to watch the promotional film of Weifang International Peace City, and to learn more about the profound peaceful cultural connotation contained in the existing peaceful cultural heritage of our museum and the profound peaceful cultural heritage of Weifang.

In the next step, the Museum of Weixian Concentration Camp of the Ledo Academy will continue to integrate universities, research institutes, Weixian Concentration Camp Research Association of the Ledo Academy, social experts and other forces, further supplement and explore the content and connotation of the peace culture contained in the old site, integrate the peaceful cultural resources of the Yellow River basin, innovate publicity and education methods, fully release the advantages of the national patriotism education demonstration base and external service window, and create an online The offline peace culture publicity matrix is connected into a network to create a high-quality peace culture publicity and education position.
